Does anyone ride without health insurance?

I'm just about to quit my job and take a few months off to complete some professional exams, so I'll lose my health insurance. This happens to overlap riding season, part of me feels like it's fairly irresponsible to ride w/o it, and part of me just doesn't care. What are your thoughts?

 

It's ok. As of next year you are required to have health insurance or you pay a Tax.

 

It seems kind of unwise to go without it.

 

Just remember that if you fell, and ended up hospitalized it could easily run several hundred grand real quickly and they will want their money....

Plus individual policies are relatively cheap - why not just get one through and ind. provider.

I wouldn't do it. I'm sure you can get some cheap insurance. Better safe than sorry...

 

Im worth about 480grand if i die. But thats cause im military sooo. I would atleast have health insurance if i rode.

 

or are THEY the idiots for being scammed by the insurance companys? haha
