I just recently got my 1000rr and im hopin it dosent get pick off cuz i have to park it in front of a apartment complex. if you ever got your bike stolen what happen and was it ever found?

 

get an alarm system on ASAP and/or Lo-Jack on it. If someone wants it, they will steal it because it's outside.. all they have to do is stake out the place for a day and figure out when your home.. scary thought but it's true =/..

do whatever you can to protect it being steering lock with chains to a pole or pillar. Lo-jack so if they steal it, you can find it quickly and maybe catch them and save your bike. Or just leave it in your dinner room =P..
someone just had their F4i stolen on friday the 13th - so do what you need to to protect it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HB-DFuwSukoi installed a scorpio alarm system (from superbikesupply.com) i broke the pager from too much vibration but getting a new one for it.. but it's nice to know there is some protection on my bike.

lock it up! some way shape or form and as many forms as possible....if at all possible pull it in your apt or rent a garage, i pay $60/mo for a garage, it also gives you a place to work on your bike.
