Or at least youse Americans What did everybody do today?

I had a nice early morning 70-80 mile ride with the BF, hit the gym, we grilled corn and burgers, and now I'm getting drunk with an apple pie in the oven. Ahhh I love holidays.

 

Spent all day pulling the carbs off my bike. The throttle cables were a snap. The friggin carb boots were a complete PITA, requiring 2 trips to Pepboys to get different screwdrivers.

Luckily, Monday is my regular day off so my 'holiday' day is tomorrow. Figure I'll put the carbs back, change the oil pan / water pump gaskets and give her a good run to see how she dances

 

I was out late last night at a kick azz Kid Rock concert... What a great show. I didn't wake up until 10:33 this morning. Then I went for a nice little 45-50 mile ride. LOTS AND LOTS OF COPS OUT.So it was time to go home, I was being a good boy and doing the speed limit.

 

Yeah, we saw a lot of policemen out today as well. We had figured on it though so were extra careful.

 

It's Labour Day in Canada also.

Went for a nice ride on a nice although windy Alberta day.

 

Got off of work at 0700 hrs. Fell asleep watching FIM racing, and got about 5 hrs. of rest. Computer, like 4 hrs. Rode for 2 hrs. Made steaks & potatoes for dinner. More computer. I'm off of work the next 4 days, woo hoo!

woke up at 12pm, rode about 100 miles dodging cops zipping along southern illinois roads..then went to show me's and thats it!

I was out in the woods in south FL on a 4-wheeled bike drinking beers and gettin muddy for the holiday.. No policemen to be had!

Yeah Worked hard during the week last week at getting out every night and practicing getting comfortable again- did a short ride on Saturday and long ones on Sunday/Monday. Sooooo freakin' happy to be back.
