Hi, I'm shure all the guys from Puerto Rico will understand, for all others that dont know of thetradition of the 3 kings day, here goes:

In PR we celebrate the 3 kings day much like people celebrate christmas. Besides the birth of the child Jesus and St. Nick coming arround bearing gifts, In PR we also celebrate the 3 wise men that went to the manger. on the night of January 5 the children get a box full of grass for the cammels to eat and leave it under the bed onder the christmas tree. This night the 3 wizemen come and replace te grass with gifts.

So anyway, to all of you happy 3 kings day! May all your wishes come true this year.

I got drunk in PR a few years back, Hyatt Cerromar/Dorado Beach/El San Juan...a very nice 10 days. We got in a cab one night looking for a strip club and the cab driver took us to 'the Black Bull', well it wasn't a strip club it was a whorehouse. I liked PR overall except you guys don't serve booze on election day, good thing we stocked up, that got us through the morning, then we had to go into the 'hood to buy more rum out of the back of someones house. I thought we were gonna get stabbed, but we made it back for our tee-time.

well im Italian and we celebrate the same day for the same reasons, but it's called Little Christmas
We leave are stockingss up and they get refilled again by the 3 wizemen

 

Cool I didn't know that in Italy they had the same tradition...

Fish: Next time you come for a visit give me a heads up, yea, I think they dont want people blaiming their bad judement on the booze they consumed on e day, as if it would make a diference.
