You guys don't get hassled for having blue lighting on your bikes, or is this a "parking lot only" mod?

Might not be a law where you guys are, but in my area you can't have any blue or red lighting on a non-emergency vehicle. The only time I got pulled over this year was for having a single blue LED that I was using as my license plate light.

Yeah - I was being completely sane the night I got pulled over - actually it was the cop that almost blew through the stopsign on a sidestreet and made me do an emergency lane change to avoid his bumper that was slightly out into my lane. I gave him my best " WTF staredown" He was even pulling out to go the other direction, but decided to come inform me about the blue LED instead. He wasn't a ***** or anything, so I didn't ask him about nearly rolling into my lane. At least he didn't give me crap about having a tinted shield on at night. Course I had immediately taken the lid off and hung it on my mirror, shield down in hopes he wouldn't see it.

Actually, I bet if I had no light at all on my plate, he wouldn't have even noticed.

Oh well, I changed it out to a clear LED. I knew the blue was a no-no, but I had it laying around. It was just a matter of time before I got told I couldn't run it.
