anyone here do it? i just started, im a acomplete newbie to it, but it looks like endless possibilities.....basic stuff last night like adding my own ringtones out of my mp3 library and adding pics etc etc....its fun....

next on my list is the free wireless internet edit......it looks interesting, and much easier than i thought.

get motorola mobile phone tools 4.0 its so easy to use and awesome you either have to buy it (ebay, newegg.com) .....or get lucky and find it on google. go to hacktherazr.com and download the usb drivers on there too.

 

I have a ripped version of phonetools, but it doesn't let me transfer data, and has lost the ability to receive text messages.

 

I droped my phone too many times. It errors out when trying to connect it to the computer.

 

does your OS recognize the phone when you plug it in? if not, you either need to update your MPT to 4.36c (i think) or get a new copy, yours might have a bug......also if your phone isnt recognized you might need to Download the updated usb drivers from here........... http://www.hacktherazr.com/downloads.html

 

I plug it in and its like "New Device Found" "Motorolia V3". It asked me to install drivers which I did but...yeah. Still doesnt work. I tryed getting to the bootscreen to check my bio/software/whatever version I have on my razr by holding down # and *(I think those are the keys) when you turn it on. My screen glitchs out and it freezes up when I do that.
