Koscheck got beaten like a red headed step-child for all 5 rounds. It was fantastic to watch him eat humble pie in the post fight interview with Joe Rogan...Joe had to grab his hand for the handshake since Koschecks eye was too swollen to see. I guess it didn't pay to talk shyte.

 

I just got caught up on the TUF Finale that I had DVR'ed. Nam Phan got robbed.

Brookins got lucky, and cant believe Cody McKinzie got another guillotine win - guy is a character. Would like to see him fight Clay Guida.

 

Cant say i agree wit you on the Phan fight. I think it was very very close and not one sided. He was a crowd favorite because of the show, and of course the crowd would disagree wit the decision....."never let the fight go to the judges" isnt that Dana's favorite quote?

Brookins is a hell of a fighter, he deserved his contract. Michael Johnson deserves to come back also.......

 

But there has been alot of talk about the judges being quite corrupt as well...

announcers said they think they need to wipe out and bring in all new judges... which in all honesty is a good idea but one set of judges will be just as corrupt as another imo

 

i totally agree. He dominated the fight the entire time. Landed consistently. Garcia was just throwing haymakers and could barely stand up.

I actually think it was the other way around. Phan wasn't the favorite at all, he was the underdog and not many gave him a chance against the likes of Garcia. Even Garcia conceded he was beat and didn't know why he won right after the fight. You know its one sided when the guy who won can't imagine why he won. He changed his tune later on, but even before the winner was read, you could see he didn't feel like he won. If Garica didn't take the fight on such a short notice, he probably wouldn't have gassed so bad and it would have been a better fight. Im sure the rematch will be Garcia actually winning.

I agree. The thing ilike most about him is his attitude. Hes not a trash talker, he's humble and considerate to everyone. He definately has to work on his stand up though. His chin was sitting there all night to be tagged. Im really suprised he didn't get knocked out when he was hit.
