Good job on the suzuki. Believe me, I don't ride a honda by choice, I'm a suzuki fan all the way. But I do have to say all the bikes are great, it's all just a name brand thing in the end.

im sorry i think the new r6 looks horrible. just horrible
I'm with you, I think they look stupid. And they lied about the 17500 redline, it really only revs to 16000. Yamaha says its because their tach is off 9% or something like that and I heard that they have to buy the bike back if your not happy with it after that redline thing. Just what I heard, if I'm wrong let me know, but I still think they look dumb.

+1000 And Jesse your not wrong. They have offered to buy the bikes back if your are unhappy.

yeah, with the r6's... half the guys i ride with think they're ugly too. but then the other half think they look good. i guess it's a "hate 'em or love 'em" deal. i heard the same thing about the redline issue.

Honda is "BIG RED" and by far the largest motorcycle company. I'm loyal to them because they care about putting the highest quality, longest lasting, eye popping, and comfortable sport bikes that you can get. So you always know that when you get a Honda sport bike you get top notch performance and ridability.

I'll take a Honda any day!

well im just gunna say. a guy on a gsxr 1000 doesnt scare me. not cause im some cocky kid on a 600.. its cause i have beaten a few zx10rs and a gsxr1000 twice on the strip. u can have the biggest fastest big ever. doesnt mean u can drive it like it suppose to be driven. if u cant launch its very possible for a 600 to beat a 1000..i've even beaten a ZZR1200. i think its funny when i beat them too..cause they werent expecting me to pull a 1.7 60 foot.

ridem hard and smart!, steve

could have been worse you could have been like every other guy and got an r6 cause that is just the most bad *** bike that runs the slowest 1/4 mile time. But seriously that is a good bike i have allways been a honda guy and after reading all the things that are being written about the suzukis i am honestly thinking about the 1000. Hey i got a question dose that gsxr have a throttle cable i read somewhere that the throttle was by wire ?

as far as i have heard, in '07 they are going to drive-by-wire. similar to planes that now fly-by-wire, meaning the physical cables from the throttle and what not are going to be electric switches instead of a straight thru cable. not sure if they are doing this to any other parts, but i would imagine so.
