Maybe a little harsh, but that's just stupid to do that stuff on the street anyway.

+1, most sportbike riders I see wear helmets, whereas most cruiser riders don't. This wheelie law is really a law against sportbikes, besides aren't wheelies usually considered wreckless driving? And that law is on the books already.

Why is it that people hear about stuff like this, complain and then do nothing????
All it would take is a people's veto (or whatever they call it) from a few MC clubs that got organized against it. Isn't that what clubs are for?

Actually, even a full dressed bagger Goldwing can wheelie just like a sportbike.

But I agree, this law is just an excuse to profile/ target sportbikes even more.

Not that those stunts shouldn't be dealt with harshly, but...

Actually enforcing the laws already in the books would solve the problem even better htan demonizing our "Crotch Rockets" (as they like to call them)

I read thru a few of the comments on the linked page. I'm really suprised more people didn't mention about how this "new" law will only cause more people to run. If they are trying to reduce the number of deaths, this is the wrong approach.
