Well awhile back a friend of mine asked me what I have against Gixxers. He doesnt ride
(he would, could he afford it)but he is a close friend and he knows a bit about bikes through me. I didnt really have an answer other then I just dont like them. I mean they do look good. But what are some facts about them if any that can justify my feeling? I kinda think that Suzuki just puts Gixxers out like candy and doesnt really put much work into them. They go for more production rather thenqaulity. Anyway thanks.

 

Gixxers frames snap in half, Honda won the MotoGP & Daytona, everyone have a Gixxer, etc.

When I got my first motorcycle (cbr600F2), all of my friends got GSXR's. My bike never had problems. Just kept rolling with new tires and oil changes. The Gixxers all had carb problems, head problems, etc. I spent the whole summer riding, while they spent the summer fixing.

Gixxers can't stunt worth crap.

 

Most squids identify with gixxers, people who dont know anything about motorcycles usually want a gixxer to stunt on and show off....not all the time but definitely happens more with them then any other kind of bike IMO

And I cant recall any stunt vids that Ive seen a gixxer in either.

 

Because they break easy and the frame snaps in half.

 

They are all over. I seen 4 bike out last night and all for them were Gixxer 600's. two were together and looked to be the same years-differant colors.

They just don't last as long as the Honda's do.
