hahah I just saw a dude riding a gixxer while he was carrying a case of beer on his tank. That was pretty dangerous. He could easily have gotten a ticket for it. I honked at him and smiled and he nodded his head hahaha.

Well I have transported chinese takeout on the tank, but I usually secure it. also the chinese place is about 15 blocks from my place so it is pretty close (I could have walked, but any excuse it good to take the bike out.)

 

Iv done a 20lb cag charcoal on the tank. I felt like anDonkey packin a fat bitch around- everyone looked and honked their horn. it was lame

 

I have done that exact same thing a couple times

 

I'll be honest- I have done the beer thing. An 18 pack fits perfect between my chest and my steering dampner. Of course, I am only going 2 1/2blocks to get home, so I never even go above 25. But i do NOT, and I mean never, drink and ride.

I have done the food thing often, but I'll never order a soda again (wet pants aren't cool, well, their cold but- you know what I mean!)

 

that happens to me every time i ride...is it normal??

 

It's called a cargo net, it'll strap anything you want to your backseat. Including beer. Especially beer. Mmmmm, beer.

 

Of course... this is all in hindsight now but I was manager at a swimming pool about 10 years ago. All I had for transportation was my motorcycle, not much has changed since then. I would run down to the distrubutor for the chemicals and load up myself and the bike with all sorts of nasy chemicals such as acid, 3 different types of Clorine, polysheen, and etc. All the guys that worked in the pool chemicals would get a kick out of watching me load up my bike and myself with all those chemicals. Man... when I look back on it, I was a two wheeled environmental accident just waiting to happen.
