Not sure of the way insurance companies operate over there. my neighbour wanted to take one of my bikes for a ride. So he took out a cover note as a prospective buyer, here there good for 30 days & covers everything & doesn't cost anything.

1st. Are they license
2nd. Is bike insurance full cover?

That's why it's so important to know chit happens...and trust me, when at the least expected? It happens...

If you go rent a motorcycle, signing all those papers? What are they...release liability not the hold owner responsible.

Unless that person is license & you have the insurance to cover both bodily & replacement...then it's ok but those fine prints on policy really sucks...you may think it does cover but may not because you may violate a clause of some sort.

I know being a friend is tough not to offer, but from experience...the chances is 10,000 to 1, but at the least you may expect some chit to happen...it does.

You would not feel good if your friend got hurt riding on your bike right? but a good friend would not ask nor take such offer...

This.

I have about 3 people out of everyone I know that I would trust on my bike, and that trust me on theirs.

Everyone else can go get their own, just like I did.

Let someone years ago ride one of my bikes and they wrecked it right in front of me...no more riders since then. Although, I have one friend that I would trust to ride my bikes, but he builds bikes as a hobby and hes real good at it.

I checked with my insurance agent. She said my insurance will cover anybody riding my bikes or driving my car.

I am very particular about my toys. So I have only couple people whom I trust their riding skills and also responsible personality.

Well nobody gets within breathing distance of Yolie... literally. Haven't tuned the perimeter sensor so she's scaring away flies right now

The local ppl I know who ride aren't anywhere near trustworthy enough to even drive my cage. If you were asking for an excuse in order to gently let someone down, you don't need one. "No" works well enough without any explanation. If asked why, "because I said no" works too. No hesitation, automatic response...

Unless you're talking about a significant other. Then its excuse time

I'll make a deal with yum/ If I ever come to Hawaii I get to ride your gsxr, If you ever decide to come ride the Dragon (us129) I'll let you use one of my bikes.

Sounds completely fair to me, HAHA

I understand what you mean, I was (accused) by the police of pulling a guy off the of my bike and punching him pretty hard for sitting on top of my bike when I didn't know the guy and he didn't know I was standing 5 foot away. I need a perimeter alarm

Yes, I am a good safe rider who knows my limit and I suppose I could trust Kuro and jveach since they trust me... ( is this how it works???)

Unless you're talking about a significant other.
Prospect? will that be still an excuse?
