mate you can't imagine i was chitting a brick watching her mainly because i sat in the hospital for weeks on end seeing how frail and fragile she'd become. we nearly lost her the docs said we probably would the bastids! so i'm VERY VERY protective of her always have been but to then see her zooming along on her bike with cars all around her i was sweating buckets. before she'd only got used to pulling off in 1st and 2nd going for a few yards and stopping. this was proper riding at around 40/45mph and she still has some visual problems with speed perception. i got to trust her judgement. she said the speeds she was moving at felt ok to her said she felt comfortable and in complete control but she wouldn't go any faster because of her visual problems with speed. she says the bike still feels very familiar to her so that's another bonus. but yeah when these sessions are over i breathe a sigh of relief then she goes home and crashes out most of the rest of the day. she's a way to go yet these sessions completely wipe her out but it's a huge leap from the doctors saying her riding career is over. i'm right proud of her but christ do i worry over her!

yeah thanks guys but completely fooking pissed off here right now. she was doing great until some absolute fooktard in a bmw decided she's not going fast enough for him. the speed limit on that country road is a 60mph limit and jules is only comfortable with 45 mph so the **** decides to try and drive her off the road because she took 3 seconds out of his life. he drove up behind her fast flashing his lights then overtakes cutting her off so fast she nearly ended up in a ditch. i was that fooked off i ran for the car and chased after the bastard but he got away. it was obvious she was a novis rider taking care not doing any harm yet this **** treated her like she was a target in a video game. he really shook her up and put her right off if so i find you bollock brain and i know your car you will learn serious lessons in respect!
