i have to say living in a heavily congested area myself, i do this all the time and no it never gets old..

Well, that was a total waste. I want those two minutes of my life back.

Doesn't work in finland... even revving a 12 litre turbodiesel six mounted on 18 metric tonnes of lorry doesn't even turn their heads as they so blindly trust the omnipotent protective force of the zebra crossing, the thought doesn't even cross their minds that "what if" I for some reason cannot get the dang thing to stop even if I try, or don't see them due to limited visibility to the right while turning. Here it is illegal to drive past a car that has stopped in front of a pedestrian crossing without stopping yourself, 99% drive through without braking. Twice I have saved the life of a pedestrian walking in front of me in the crossing with headphones the size of mailboxes in their heads without taking one look around my corner if the other lane is empty, by blasting the 120db airhorn in their faces. Neither saw the car going swoosh a foot from them cause they were so busy cursing me for scaring them. You're welcome, when you get home and wash those undies bear in mind that next time I wont honk and get to watch you take a flight lesson...

Sorry for the rant, I spend my working days behind the wheel of my rig and trust me I see idiots of all shapes and sizes every day...

and thats why i posted the vid.. most people walk out into the street totally confident that everybody will stop and somehow stop on a dime.. including the guys that drive 10,000 pound rigs and to see a guy on a 400lb bike getting people to jump out of the way is pretty funny.
anyway im familiar with your point of view and feel exactly the same.. did you see the first chick at the beginning of the video? right on the edge of the roadway and she couldn't even bother looking up from her phone. the guy drove by so close i believe it was a samsung she had in her hand..
