NO WAY - most of our speed cameras take pics from the front...!!!!
I'd've lost my licence ages ago with a front plate.[X(][X(]
Mounting one on the front mudguard also makes no sense - you can't see it from the front.
Next thing they'll be buying cameras that take from the side so they can see our plates......
but then they'll miss all the cars - can't have it both ways.
Put them on classic bikes which were designed to have them........if they must.
It's cheaper here to be pulled over and fined for not having a plate at all than pay a speeding fine.....strange but true !

 

Why dont they just re-position the cameras or add one pointing forward?

 

This bullsh*t is purely revenue driven, it has been touted by one state or another for years now. The small percentage of bikes that speed through front on cameras does in no way justify this crap. Its the same friggin attitude that got bikes fitted with the 'lights on' rubbish, that in the end proved everyone wrong & in many cases rendered the bike invisible when the sun was directly behind them, so the law no longer exists. I hate bloody beurocrats who have nothing better to do than cook up sh*t like this. With the road toll the way it is, spending the same amount of money that this will cost to introduce in to fixing the roads would lower the amount of accidents anyways. Dick head bastards.
