damn thats awful. I used to let my friends that know how to ride take my f4i all the time. No ones touching my rr that i just bought though. Glad your friends ok besides some cuts and bruises and a sore ego. Does your insurance cover this? Or is your friend gonna cover it? hopefully youre not stuck footing the bill.

I let my friend borrow my car, he crash it. His insurance did not cover, mine neither....lesson learned....I've let my friend ride my FZR600 (Previous bike) I never drop the bike, my friend happens to drop my bike for the first time...

Problem is when you try to make your friend own up to pay for damages......your friendship will become very sour...

Life lesson...when any of my friend ask to ride, I just say sorry man, no joy ride, I don't want you to get hurt and my insurance dont cover, if he says he has insurance, I would say insurance won't cover my mod....I'll tell friend to buy his own bike...

Think of it this way...your bike is your GF, would you let your friends ride?

Sorry that your in such tough situation but you must work it out with your friend to own up & pay for damages...it's only righteous

I have let 2 of my friends ride mine and before hand I make it clear that they know if there is any damage they are paying for it.

Wow man that really blows. At least everyone is still alive. As for the bike, well hopefully he really is a good friend and not only offer to pay to fix it but does pay to fix it. If I crashed one of my friends bike I would fix it for them even if it took my a little but to get the cash. My general rule of thumb is I will let any one of my friends with a bike ride my bike. If they crash mine I get their bike until they fix mine just as if I crashed their bike they would get my RR until I fixed theirs. Hope you get it back together real soon.

Glad your friend is okay. Did they know how to ride or no?

I only let my friends with bikes ride it and there is a understanding that if you break it i keep your key till you fix it.
