Foxy's NIGHTTIME Photo Shoot! (UPDATED 05.27.08)
UPDATED: New Pictures (different settings) 05.27.08:
Here are a few more pictures I re-shot earlier this evening. Same place, different settings, more stable shooting which made the image sharper. We also fooled around with the long shutter speed on a couple, and Hamster's bike is in one I think...........
And since we were on a closed road, and had TWO bikes with HID's blaring while I was taking pictures, an officer pulled up saying he could see the HID's from the highway (which was about 4 miles away). He pulled up and just started talking with us. He knew Hamster and Captain Slow, so he said we can take as much time as we wanted and took off. Awesome Police Officer....hope I only get pulled over by him in the future. So without further ado.......here's the pics............

Yep. Just me, my buddy Tony on his Grafitti 08, and my brand new Canon S5-IS (a whopping $320 bucks)........oh, and a new road that hasn't been opened yet ..........I was amazed the camera pulled off some of these shots. Tony and I (soon-to-be member) are going back tomorrow night to snap a few more pics and try out a few different settings. Here a just a few from tonight. Tomorrow nights' pics should be quite a bit better (and clearer)...........

Facking sick man, gawd I love that bike. If ever there was a 600RR sales tactic, your bike is it - makes me want one.

Love it! Were you using a car as the lighting source or did you bring something along?

Now you're just showing off :P
I was going to have to critique the pics but since you say tonights will be clearer I will give you a break lol j/k, I'm in no position to critique your stuff man .. looks good. The subject (the bike) is usually much crisper in your pics though .. look a bit soft in those (not enough f stop?) also if I may be bold enough to suggest one thing on tonights pics, place the light source more towards the bike .. the bike is kind of getting eaten up by shadows/contrast .. unless of course you where going for that look.
Still looks very nice!! Look forward to tonights pix.
You'd be dangerous with HDR photos
