It would never make it out of committee here. The committee members would rightfully fear for their lives by considering such a stupid measure

No, I think it was just copied and pasted though a translator that wrecked the grammar.

On subject: I think that something is better than nothing, but the main fix here is educating drivers about motorcycles, not making riders wear silly colors.

Here in Arizona, there's no law on gear at all. No helmet laws, no nothing. Something like this would never even make it discussion. We're very much the "Get out of my face" state.

right.... its our faults that cars can't see us.

no... for heaven's sake, it couldn't possibly be the people paying more attention to their text messages, radio, air con, other people in the car, etc....

this is just another law that doesnt make sense (not that i expect that from france...but... hey). it shifts attention away from the real problem, people in the car

So what happens when wearing Reflective vests don't change numbers in death tolls? Do they go back to not wearing them?

Then they will make you wear a bright yellow florescent helmet.

After that they will ditch the vest and make you wear a full florescent suit.

After that, you look like nuclear waste.

Problem solved.

EDIT: All my jackets have some reflective tubing on the back so I'm sure (at night) I can still be spotted somewhat easily.

We don't have helmet law neither here in Hawaii. But doesn't military people have to wear long white sleeve shirt and those vest in the base?
