Read the new Colorado thread and thought I would post a couple of vids and pics of my Ford.

And that is why I love american muscle. Of course as the driver of (as I call it) an american rice burner. Its a 02 svt focus I get all kinds off people trying to roll on me. Until they find out have a hi roll cam, exhaust timing, full blown race exhaust, intake, injectors, and a kenne belle boost-a-pump. It takes the all aluminium 2 liter to around 220-230 to the pavement. Aint to shabby it wont roll like that gt but. Hey do you have the sohc motor still in or did you swap for the dohc. And was that "boost" i heard?

6k, dump the clutch and hold on.

1/4 ET 11.13 @ 123 which was last May in some humid air. I've been working on the suspension over the summer and going with a full race setup. Should see some better launches and hopefully stop the nose dives when I shift. Shooting for 10.7's in some good air.

Still running the SOHC with the small S-Trim from Vortec. 12#'s of boost.

I think the thread insights irony.

I"m a fan of all things American, and while imports make a car you can beat up, there are very few automobiles that won't actually live to 150K miles. Everyone's got a story, "I got a buddy that bought an Escort brand new in 1989 and he still drives it today." Prolly looks cherry too.

I"m a Mustang guy myself, had an '83 and a 91, both GT's. Never had any problems outta those cars that I didn't ask for. Well, there wasone thing...

Those damn center console ashtray doors! Never saw one that worked flawlessly.
