T-Rex Racing makes great quality stands. I purchased a front triple tree and rear stand set from them over 2 years for about $165 shipped. I keep my bike stored on the stands during the winter and the bike the very solid.
|
i did forget to mention in this video that the trex has a extra triangular support the pitbull lacks this
|
Again, where is the T-rex manufactured?
|
Dk dc I know pitbull is stamped made in America. But that's not saying much considering the materials used are likely imported.
And anymore the stamp of made in America is decreasing in quality |
excellent review ___Z___. Santa brought me a trex rear stand.. gold zinc too but it has the single pole handle making it look almost exactly like a Pit Bull.
It feels super solid to me as well. |

And anymore the stamp of made in America is decreasing in quality My rear stand is some cheap import I got from Cycle Gear when I first bought my bike. My front one is a Pitbull pin type. I only bought it because I could not find any other brands of that style at the time I was shopping. When I opened the box I was greatly impressed by the quality of craftsmanship and I immediately understood why they cost a bit more than the others. |
Ill be honest and say that while yes you do see great quality and craftsmanship, you also get the same feeling when viewing the trex..
I am all for made in america products, but not when you are paying alot extra for the "name" not just the quality ill make sure and update as I go along... as of now no complaints yet.. |
I guess I was originally just asking where the T-rex is made. From something I found on a Google search one person said they are made in Texas. Is there a sticker on it somewhere that says "Made in...."?
|
ah sorry Jeff i miss took a actual question for you trying to get at that pb is a us product...
i can check the box here this evening... however i did just find this Warranty T-Rex Racing stands come with 35 year warranty against manufacturing defects in material from the original date of purchase. Within this period, you can ship them back to us for part or product replacement or repair. |
terrible review. several comparisons weren't performed:
- Which one gets hit on the most at a bar. - which makes the best emergency flotation device. - which bounces highest when thrown from a 5-story window - which one makes you feel "pretty" and finally - there wasn't a steel cage fight-to-the-death between the 2 stands, Thunderdome style. 2 men enter, only one walks out. |
^^^^my thoughts EXACTLY
|
O no i did all of that but i had to remove it from the video...
contents would have been X rated |
