Eh screw getting a new one. I'll just use a magic marker. Nobody would be able to tell unless they got right up next to it.

The sad thing is, I've done that to my car before... hey, black car, black sharpie... what's the difference? (this also works well on black wheels for about a week, then it starts fading... "curb marks? what curb marks? [8D])

Hmm, what about a clear epoxy? spread a nice amount on the scuff and kind of shave it off. So it fills the scuff yet you shave off the excess so it remains the height of the surface. Should dry clear. Anyone like this idea?

Thats what they use anyway. I work with carbon fiber daily (making tanks, not car/bike parts) its just a two part epoxy. I guess theyprobably use some sort of laquer to put it on that thick, butas long as its smooth in the end, it'd work just fine.

Damn FLY, I was expecting the worst when I saw the post.
A tip over is nothin,my bike tipped over 6 days after I bought on an up-hillgravel driveway.

Still SUCKS none the less. [:'(]

Yeah that scuff doesnt look too bad best bet would be to try and buff it out. Good luck and glad the drop went well....
