It's not live action, but the bike is at least *on*
And those are kevlar jeans, btw- love them. Attachment 57768 |
Lookin good, Elf! Got a bit of the "I'm not evil... I'm just serious" motif going in that pic ;)
Likin the jeans too. Those the Shift Torques you posted about? Haven't forgotten bout them. Just waiting till I can buy 2 or 3 pairs. Quick question bout them: they come with any care instructions? Toss in the washer? |
Yeah, those are the Shift jeans- I freakin' love them so far. And yes, just wash and wear. I haven't stuck mine in the dryer, I line dry them, but they should be fine.
And "I'm not evil, I'm just serious"- lol, love it. I need that on a tshirt. |
Very Fashionable, if that is a word. You got style, what kind of boots are those, Icon? Yuuck I hate leaves. Ride safe.:icon_bike:

Those are cruiser boots, actually- River Road. I bought a pair of Sidis but they don't give me enough toe-to-the-ground with my shortie legs. So I'm saving the sidis for track, whenever I get around to that. |
Looking great :)
I'm interesting in these Kevlar jeans.. They feel like normal jeans? time for some research! |
clearwater eh? maybe ill see you riding around one day :)

Hah, this sounds weird
im actually in st petersburg Nice picture nonetheless, ehh I missed my bike. |
LOL..I actually have a friend in St Petersburg, Russia, and we joke about that all the time.
The kevlar jeans are awesome so far. They're heavier than normal jeans and I get a bit more heat protection out of them since they have some kevlar on the inner knee side. I'm under no illusions as to the fact that leather > all, but these + knee pads are a decent compromise imo. |
What do you guys where to keep your legs warm in the morning when you're going to work...? I tried double jeans this morning, and I take it off at the gym here.. it's ok.. kind of hassle.

Yeah, I thought about that. I have a pair from snowboarding. But if I'm ridin gin the morning to work then back home in the afternoon, I only need it in the morning. It's even more of a hassle to take the under armor off. lol.
Maybe some strap on leathers? |
