Here are the two diffusers off the top my helmet just to give you guys and idea of the paint job for the helmet...remember these are just the diffusers and the helmet will be another color...enjoy.. comments welcome..

A slight purple mist over that and about 3 or 4 layers of clear.....= Baaaaaad........

 

How'd you manage such detail? I like the lightning, but...

ok here is the helmet pictures.... the circle on the top is where the Arai symbol was.. I left it there because I want to get a sticker and place it back correctly...ill have the final pictures up later

Final product with diffusers back on...I wish it was sunnier for the detail to really pop.. in the dark it just looks like a black helmet but in the sun it looks SWEET...I got the detail by spraying a white primer on both the diffusers and the helmet. I then painted a white color over the diffusers and i followed that up by a flat black primer. The two paints separated forming the lightning. I did the actual helmet by painting it first with the white then followed by the red and then the flat black primer. Which in turn did the same thing. Took me a total of two days from taping and painting...PLUS me and the wife just had a baby boy on the 2nd so I've been preoccupied with doing anything and this was the first thing I could fit in between sleeping hours and taking care of him =)
