Default Fair unbiast(?) review of gsxr600

For starters I own a 05 f4i and have so far put about 9000 just shy actually on it and have loved and enjoyed every second. I got that chance to take my buddies 06 gsxr 600 for a spin yesterday and see what I thought and wow. Now I would not trade my f4i for anything but that gsxr is bad ***. You can really feel extra stability in the corners with the exhaust being underneath the bike. I never had the sketchy feeling of dragging my foot like I do on my f4i and the rear sets havent been moved up yet they are still down. The midrange (4-7) grand accleration by far surpasses the f4is. And that gear indicator is a thing of beauty I know you can buy them for pretty much any bike but having it on the dash already is a good look. After all that the things I hate the brakes are super touchy, I felt like I was going to slide every time I touched the levers. There seems to be some sort of an engine brake on it. Ant familiar with polaris quads knows the feeling. I let off the throttle for a split second and I lose 5 mphs. One other thing I did not like was its high speed stability and it has a stabilizer on it. I ran it to about 100 110 and it felt real sketchy. Now this is not may daily bike I have rode his bike for maybe 60-70 miles so I dont have a true comparo but I can say if that would have been out when I bought the f4i I would have got it. I dont know if it is joking or honda loyalty but thats a pretty quality bike. The things I dont like I am sure would become second nature after a while. Oh yeah never by a 636 my buddy has one. I love the like and its not a bad bike, but it just doesnt seem to have all the hype in it that kawaski claims. It aint no faster than my f4i.

You didnt like the high speed stability? Or lack there of? My GSX-R is the most stable bike I have ridden in highspeed corners, especially when they are bumpy. Every Honda I've ever owned threw a fit when cornering over rough pavement. The new 1000RR may not be this way, but all the others up to it that I have ridden were this way.

It aint no faster than my f4i.
Did you try this from a roll on (there by eliminating rider ability and showing pure power to weight ratio)? If you did and it still beat the ZX, I'd tell your buddy to take it back because he got a bad one.

gixxers DONT have an undertail, its on the bottom of the bike, on the right hand side, like the new R6 has. I kinda like the new gix six, but its a little radical to me, compared to what I prefer. I'm partial to carburetors, and dont much like fuel injection.
