EXTREME!! SPROCKET HANDOFF CHALLENGE!
=================================
============
HOW IT WORKS
============
The sprocket (a used rear sprocket) is transported to the extremes of the 48 United States, and possibly other areas. See below for list of extremes we're shooting to get it to. With the sprocket travels a log book. The book is set up so that when it get's back to me I can see who's had it, where they started with it and where they left it with the next guy. Feel free to draw something next to your name, add notes, whatever you want to do with it.
Every time the sprocket is moved it should be by meeting up with another rider and personally handing the sprocket off. Make sure you take pictures of the handoff! Once you get the sprocket come home and post up and tell us it has been moved and where you can go to meet the next person and when.
When you get the sprocket, you can leave you mark on it however you like as long as you don't remove another persons mark, personally I think it would be really cool if everybody dipped it in paint, or spray painted it or somehow artistically modified it. The pictures can serve as records of what it's looked like in the past, and by then end it might have 50-100 layers of paint on it. I think it would be pretty neat!
