great. I buy a lot from flebay and I make it a point to only purchase if i have the money on hand. Its a sad day when I see people trying to screw each other for a few bills. You clicked the buy it now so either fess up and let the shipper know or enjoy /resell the item you just bought.

Yes, delivery confirmation every time. I have been screwed by buyers doing that to me. They say they never received the item but they did. Bastards got their money back too.

i got screwed, bought a mobile phone claimed to be unlocked/unbranded
recieved it and it wouldn't accept my sim card, so i contacted seller who said they'd give me £10 to get it unlocked,, but i found out there would be no software to unlock it for 6mts,, so i contacted them again, and they said to return it to them.
i mailed it recorded to their account address, with details of mine inside,,
well the fekers had moved but didn't adjust their address, so i checked tracking no# and it said it was returned to post office returns.
rang post office and they lost it, they confirmed it had been opened by them to find a return address enclosed,,, and it just got lost.
basically told me to claim it off insurance or something.
pay-pal wouldn't sort it, because it was sent to their old address,, which they had suddenly updated.
NAF! i was ragin' .... £ 300 down.

still had the imei, and i waited 6 weeks (hopefully to someone sold it on and spent the cash) and i rand the phone provider with the sellers details and got it network blocked and left a password for unblocking, so no-one else could ring and get it released from lock.

bet that pissed someone off along the thieving line .

now if i'm returning something i ask about 20 questions for records and confirmation of address through ebay, pay-pal and a P/message.

that was about 5yrs ago, fingers crossed, no trouble since

I really don't like ebay much anymore, but sometimes it's the only place to find a part you need...dang old bikes.

+1 eBay is not great for seller..if your selling something, your re expecting to take a loss...buyers are smart now and would not pay more than 80% of what it's worth. And the fees are ridiculous...and seller cannot post negative to buyers?

It's hit or missed on eBay. But it's true that it's only place to buy parts for an older bike.....
