i just rode the pp's on the track... they arent as good as the supercorsas, but i didnt have the extra 200 bucks to spare to buy the supercorsas... the pilot races dont want to dive into the turns like the pirellis, they have to be muscled a little more.

anyway, the bridgestones come stock on gixers too.

Well my bike is 100% street warrior all year round so what ever tires ya'll think is good for my vfr (about 100lbs more than yo's 600's), then lay it on me.

I have ran dunlop qualifiers my last set and currently have 5k on this set....you cant run 3 mins and expect them to grip like the PP....I love my qualifiers, I had PP when I got the bike and they wore so freakin fast, i replaced them after 2k miles of owning the bike(and the guy said he only put 1.5k on them) I have yet to have a bit of a problem out of my qualifors, I take turns fast all day and not once have they ever slipped.
+1. I think the majority of people over exaggerate the "slipping" of these tires. NEVER have I slipped on these tires once they were up to temperature.........and that's with track time, aggressive twisties in the mountains, everyday commuting and time at Laguna Seca.......all on "off the shelf" Dunlop Qualifier's. Even the California Superbike School uses off the shelf Dunlop Qualfier's on their track bikes for the class and they grip wonderfully. I even remember thinking how great these tires were, then when I pulled into the paddock to check what tires they were, wouldn't you know I was amazed to find they were regular Qualifier's. And in the picture below, yep, they're Qualifier's..........

BUT THERE IS A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE OEM "QUALIFIER'S" AND "REAL" QUALIFIER'S.

Stock Qualifier's are just a name. I wouldn't go as far as to say they "suck", but they are not as good as Off the Shelf Qualifier's

^I currently have 7k miles on the OEM qualifiers, and still haven't had them slip on me. I push them fairly hard on some rides (ground the pegs, although that could be from my terrible form).

Mine had those, too (BT010's?). When I replaced them, the guy that put my tires on the wheels asked how I could even ride them. I just remember feeling like I was riding on clouds after I changed to the PP's.

Wtf are "True Qualifiers"
^^Maybe some bad wording...but he's a little better description:

Thank you for taking the time to contact us with your Dunlop motorcycle
tire questions. Letter designations, such as "G", "J", "K", "U", etc.,
indicate an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) variant. These vehicle
model-specific tires are subtly modified from the standard units as
requested by a specific vehicle manufacturer. It could denote a lighter
weight tire, different internal construction specifications, or even a
slightly different tread pattern. A particular OEM tire would be available
only through the vehicle manufacturer dealer's Parts and Accessories
department.

"the ones that come stock are actually made by the sumitomo rubber corp in japan"

Hey Ranger, I'll get back to you on that one. Don't have my bike at my disposal for the time being. If someone else would like to answer feel free too.
