Does your heart beat faster?
When you're about to climb on your bike for the first time that day, does your heart still speed up slightly (or greatly)?
When first I got my F3 last year, it was definitely nerves and it took about an hour before I calmed down. Towards the end of the year, I'd be good within 2 blocks. Getting the F4i this year, I definitely succumbed to nerves again (Ororo is too pretty). Took a couple days to get a handle on how she moved compared to the F3 (definitely responds much quicker to my touch). But still...
If I even start to think of riding, I can feel my heart starting to speed up. I'm fairly sure it's anticipation. Though getting caught in my first rainstorm was definitely a nervous experience. So does it ever go away? Has it gone away for you? Or are you still a nervous wreck?

I call it excited anticipation as I start the bike and finish putting on my gloves, etc., as it warms up. Nothing to be nervous about, just looking forward to the thrill of the ride.
However, I will say that my heart usually beats faster when I'm on my bicycle than when I'm on my CBR, especially when climbing a steep hill.
