Default Do u wear ur leathers even when not riding?

Me and a buddy of mine went to a local bar on friday. Seemed like an alright place on the outside so we decided to check it out. To my surprise the place was a Harley Bar. Everybody was really nice but needless to say we felt really out of place. What got me tho was that everyone had on there Harley leathers in January. Obviously they didn't ride there. It really caught me off guard because I never wear my jacket unless I'm out riding. I figure it must be a Harley thing. I'm not about to go grocery shopping and grab my rocket jacket on the way out lol. Doesn't make any sense to me. DO any of you guys/gals wear your leathers even when your not out riding?

I wear them around the house and especially when doing yard work. I'd wear them for pajamas but my arm falls asleep.
They are really sexy to wash the car in, with the side benefit of the bugs washing off the leathers too.

I guess it just never occurred to me the other uses for my jacket. I have been missing out this whole time! And to think I have just been using it for riding! Wow is my face red lol

Maybe the harley jackets don't have armor in them or don't have as much?

Aside from riding, the armor in my jacket and the speed hump on the back annoy me. Mine are not leather either. But I wouldn't want to walk around on a regular basis with the speed hump sticking out.

Those harley jackets have a really relaxed fit. They are not generally pre-curved like most sportbike jackets.
