Default Do helmet chin aeroskirts really help with wind noise???

I'm ordering the Scorpion EXO-700 and I want to keep the wind noise down as much as possible. Do these skirts really help or are they a gimmick? Thanks guys!

Yes, they do help, it does not eliminate it, but it does make a difference. My old arai had one, and I didnt realize how much I liked it until I got my new helmet and it doesnt have one.

chin curtains are the best thing since sliced bread. They reduce the bugs coming up in after hitting your chest, and they also help if ya have a chatterbox for noise reduction when using the VOX feature.

Not trying to steal the thread, but you mentioned you're getting the 700. Does anybody know if the 1000 are out yet?

Yep, I got a chin-curtain for my HJC helmet, and it does decrease the level of wind noise noticeably. (plus, keeps your chin warmer during the cooler months.)
