I think a friend told me about that new law one time...I think he said its legal to play poker and legal to fund the account, you just cant make a withdraw from a gambling site to bank account...in other words, you can put money on and play with it legally, you just cant ever cash out.... at least, thats the way it is in Arkansas I think
Wrong. You CAN cash out...they can send you a check or put it into a 3rd party account like epassporte.

After reading the article it sounds like its legal, but the only thing is the means of funding the playing. Many politicans will claim it is illegal and in violation of the Wire Act, but the Wire Act does not apply to online gambling, only sports betting. So what the new bill does is make it illegal for banks to make payments to offshore gambling sites, that may or may not be limited to checks as well. However, if you use a 3rd party payment processor such as NETeller, they are offshore as well, you pay them, which is not an offshore gambling site, they are allowed to pay the gambling site since they are out of US jurisdiction and vice-versa for cashing out. You can do money orders as well, as long as the bank doesnt make the actual payment to the casino, because that would put them in violation. Guess im loading up my RVP!

At least playing online, you guys wouldn't see me twitch everytime I get four aces. So, Catman, do you really play the players rather than the cards when you are playing live? I don't think I could ever play without giving my hand away!

Is that the best book on tells? I don't have that one yet...have you read other tell books and found this one to be superior or is this the only one you've read?

Btw if you wanna get poker books (or any books for that matter) dirt cheap you can go on amazon.com, half.com, or ebay.com and they all have "used" books that you can buy from private sellers...it'll tell you what condition they're in and a lot of the time you can find ones that are new and have never been read, for like 1/3 or less than the new price.
