So I was over at one of my buddy's place tonight watching SNF with 4 friends when I hear a knock on the door. 1guywas in the back room, I was in the living room withmy buddy watching tv.The 4th guy answers the door and the next thing I see is his a$$ beingtackledto the ground with a .45 to his head. Then about 5 more DEA agents come through the door and tackle my friend who was standing up on the couch in the living room and I get thrown to the floor with a knee in my neck and a gun to my head [&:].

Apparently, the 1 guy I didn't know in the apt. was a small time drug dealer doing business out of it and today was the day the decided to issue the search warrant and arrest him. Sucks for me cuz I ended up missing2 hours of SNF while sitting in handcuffs so they could finish searching the apartment.

Interesting way to end the week to say the least

Well, then you need to stay home tomorrow night so you dont miss any of that, unless they plan on raiding your place sometime soon!

^^ That was definately crossing my mind..lol I hadn't been over to their place in a good 4 months(avoiding thex)and the people in the apartmentI know don't do that $hit but hey....they still let that $hit go on and look what happens so definately something to consider.

 

I also dont think it could have been that minor if it were dea agents. I may be wrong, but to my knowledge they dont usually kick down the door of a nickle and dime weed slinger.

 

DEA will generally only get involved with major narcotics trafficking, so my friends in the States tell me.The small stuff is left to local vice squad cops. I think his involvement in the trade was a lot bigger than he made it out to be.
Time to change venues, even switch friends. You've heard of guilt by association, huh ?

 

2 ounces of weed at the apt, $600.00 cash and3 deals apparently caughtby wire (the probable cause for the warrant). Small butdrug infestedtownwith nothing better for themto do.

Definately, heard of guilty by association. I wouldn't let it go far tho. They can test me 23 years back if they'd like. never smoked it..etc. I won't hold my clearance had I screwed up before.

 

certainly lucky you're clean and they came after him. 99% of the time, DEA wont get involved in a search unless the person(s) they're there to arrest are involved in a much larger overall ring, or they suspect such, otherwise, the local police do the raid and arrest thing.


but I'd certainly say its time to make new friends and be much more selective about who you hang with. my friends arent into that crap, because of how picky I get about people I chill with.
