I just got the new Cycle World magazine ( with Rossi and the Yamaha M1 on the cover) the other day and was flipping thru it before my ride on Sunday. I was all set to go and was going to wear sweatpants under my jeans as well as my Fieldsheer Jacket that has hard armor, My Sidi Boots, and my Arai..then I read the article written by Peter Egan (The art of planning to Crash) regarding his recent experience riding with his friend who went down and was wearing jeans and stuff like I just described....he didnt have any knee armor on and messed up his knee and the article goes on about dirtbike riders that wear knee protection, ect....so I went in and changed into my full leathers just in case...I highly recommend you read it.
It might save you from uneeded healing if you fall down!!
Luckily I didnt fall

Just got it

 

I read it standing in line at Walmart. It's quite a good article. I like how he said "would you play football without pads and a helmet". He does make alot of sence and some good points.

 

I read it to. good article on Rossi! Although, I already had a wreck in jeans and messed my knee up. all is fine now, but it took me three months just to be able to walk downstairs, woohoo was that fun. I always wear my gear now, no excuses
