look at it, cop put the style as 4 door sedan. go tell the judge kawasaki makes streetbikes and offroad toys, not sedans.

I thought that what they do is enter the plate number in their computer and the rest of the info just displays by itself? isn't how it works or they have to type everything manually?

here everything on the ticket is still handwritten. I was actually impressed that the ticket was printed.

I am sure there are some legal issues that would allow you to fight it, but just pay it and move on. You were in the wrong so deal with it.

i would tell the judge that the kawasaki was sold prior to the incident, and that day you were driving a car.

its a 50/50 shot these days, every city is hungry for $$$$$$ they will try to nail you for anything.

You will get out of that if you go and show it. Always always always scour the ticket after issue for a little something like that.

Oh and never say thank you to the cop as they walk away either.

Who does that? I've had so many run-ins with the po-po and I've never said "thank you" for a ticket. Never even crossed my mind.

I've thanked them for not taking me directly to jail, tho. lol..
And warnings generally get a thanks unless they gave me a lecture.
