Me and a few military buddies are going to the Gap this summer. No dates as of yet. Just curious to see if anyone is interested.

 

I will be there the whole week of the 25th thru the 30/31th, for a rally on the July 26th - 28th.

 

I wish I could go. You guys should have blast.

The only bad part is your going during peak times. Try to go during the week instead on the weekend.

The ones I mention are during the week for the rally. We will be arriving on Sunday the 25th tho.

Yea riding there is more fun during the week tho, less 'touristy' types about lol

 

yeah...lol. But I was refering to the entire summer being peak times out there. And he said July or August, and those are some pretty busy months.

 

I would absolutely love to take the bike to the gap, unfortunately there is just no way for me to pull off any kind of vacation this year. I'll be surprised if I even have the finances to make it to the point where I get to enjoy half the riding season. Things are really tough for me this year.

 

UPDATE: We are looking at the 2nd or 3rd week as of now. We will be staying in NC about 1 hr from the tail.

 

UPDATE: It looks like the trip is off as of now. My partner in crime went down pretty hard today.
