The dealership I work at has a few. 06/07 675 are the same I believe. Anyways, we have both. They are very narrow bikes though
I don't know what year my buddy has, but it seemed to have a fatter tank than the rest of the bikes in the group. I thought it was wider...I always have a good chance of being wrong. I sat on it, though, and it felt very well balanced. It actually felt lower that my F4i. I would love to have one.

I think its the previous years that are different. I think the 06/07 are the same and then previous years have a wider tank/frame. I know both the 06/07 have a skinnier frame (IMO)

your friend has a pre 06 model.. if you look on the triumph site you will see they looked like your friends till 06 then they were changed.. i like the 06 or newer models... they are pretty pricy for a 600 class .. then again the 07 600rr is over 9k MSRP which is a joke.. but i guess prices are rising..

Great minds do thing alike. I am hoping to score one of these 675's for my next bike and just use my f3 to practice stunting on. Im not willing to spend 9k for it but If i can round one up for about 7 its a done deal. Also here the triumphs are sold at a bmw bike dealer.

I hear they are great bikes, I have seen a few in person at a dealership just outside Madison WI, the only experiance I have on them is that two seconds that I sat on one there, and in that two seconds I can tell you that the seats are HORRIBLE!!! You might as well be sitting on something a high school kid made in shop.

I love the Daytona 675, I was going to sell my old '01 YZF-R1 for it but I decided to keep the Yamaha, since I didn't want to go down from a litre bike to a 600cc-class bike. The Daytona handles really well, it's feels so light and it is so easy to toss around like a toy. Just be careful as it dives in quicker than you'd expect.
