Using Facebook (of all things) the kids in 3rd SF are able to send short messages home. Some brilliant 18E (SF Commo SGT's) were able to use field equipment to post online, on mission. So far it's been pretty cool, wish I had that when I was in.
This message from her was not so great.
3 opperators from 3rd SF Group (Airborne), one who just yesterday slapped an SF Combat Patch on her in the field, were killed in action. She seemed first upset them quickly graduated to pissed off and focused.

Recenty she broke down and sent me a current pic, comlpete with blue head scarf and Special Forces Combat patch on her right arm....

Per her request, Dad's sending "BETTER F*CKING M4 MAGS!" The kiddo was appearantly "let down" my a GI Mag last time she needed it.

 

She's her father's daughter for sure.

Oh man, when I got my hands on my first PMAG last deployment, I Gave the NSN to my Supply SGT and told him to square to the troop away, they are day in night.

 

Wahiawa... I remember it so well... Schofield was my first duty station as a dump 11B private.
Put off shipping the latest care package till friday.... I felt the need to add more.

 

Mom and I sent 2 boxes today, one with the mags ands tac gear, one with candy bars, ice tea & hygine stuff. I got to chat with her on skype this am, she sounds in good spirts.
