Well, I was surfin in the F3 area and was lookin at the "Post your F3 pics" thread and Buddah has a bunch of ride pics that brought back the feeling of riding thru the summer. The feeling that I used to be able to just hop on my bike and GO! The roads would be clean and clear of snow and water (ice), the exhilaration of going into a good curve and opening her up halfway thru. After getting to whatever destination, it'd be so hot that I'd wanna get my coat off before my helmet. Yeip, I finally officially miss my summer riding time, and being stuck here at work just makes me even more depressed.

I’d love to go out and ride in the snow with my quad but my damn rear axle carrier is chillin at my apartment awaiting new bearings (that are en route about 300 miles away). I need no sympathy, for I know that in a matter of three month I’ll be out tearin it up again. And in the meantime, I’ll just beat the **** outta my 400EX and keep myself warm by beating the trails around my area.











P.S. – You guys that are gonna post up your wonderful 70deg temps can go outside and get pestered by some bugs while you scrub them off your windshield.

 

DudeI have had the winter blues for the last month and a half and winter just started last week LOL! it's been so cold and nasty here that riding is just out of the question. This past Saturday was not bad and a few bikes were out, but my bike is in the shed and my back yard was so wet and muddy it was not worth getting the bike nasty or stuck.

I just keep telling myself it will be over soon it will be over soon.

 

I have not been able to ride since Nov 18th due to the damn cold... Im going through withdrawls!

 

I haven't been able to ride since Dec. 20, and that ride ended abruptly.

It JUST got cold last night (got down to about 19 with wind chill), but its supposed to be 62 on Sunday..........but I don't have a bike to ride anymore.

 

I havent rode since the end of Oct...My battery died, then it got cold.....finally got a battery, but now its cold as hell, and she wont start gunna have to clean the carbs[:'(]

 

Yup, sucks to not be able to just hop on the bike and take off. I'm still managing to ride a few times a week usually just to run some errands and get it up to temp.

you got a dirtbike too, those are just as much fun !!

 

I hope so, I gave up on studdin my F4i and planned to use the enduro instead. I'm still studding my quad (started on the front last night), but I would like to try out some of the ice tracks here locally. I work with a guy that races ice and he invited me out to his track so I got nothin to loose.

I'm gonna have to post up some pics of my towing rig after it's all finished. I've given my pickup to my old man and want cheap gas mileage so I fabed up a hitch for my '94 Escort. Can't tow an enclosed trailer or anything, but my 12' boat trailer should work just fine.

 

I just got back from an exotic golf vacation. 80+ degree temps all day long! Then, I get back here to the Buckeye state and . I guess we got hit somewhat hard a couple times with some snow, etc., but the past few days it's been 30+ and that's warm enough to take a ride. I may not be able to ride very agressive but I can still enjoy the riding sensation you always get when you're on a bike. Anywho, Spring/Summer will be here before we know it gals/guys and then we can get back to what we enjoy doing .

 

It got up to 80 degrees today here in NC!

 

I just got back from a half hour ride...then it started getting cloudy and threatened rain...so I got back ASAP!
