The thing about being a programmer...is if your head isn´t in the game...you´re pretty much just wasting time. I hate days like this!

Ha, no...most of my programming is in VB, VB.net, VBA and SQL. We also have code in Java and ASP, but one of my lackies does the coding for the website...It would take me 10 times longer since I´m not as familiar with the language.

I really don´t have practical experience in C, C++ or C#, primarily because it´s not a cost effective way of progamming for our company. We don´t have a need for a highly optimized program.

 

sometimes i just stare at the page and scroll up and down mindlessly, after a long day of coding i am rather dizzy when im trying to do other things. that reminds me, i am supposed to be doing something...

 

believe or not, i miss those days...i can sympathize completely though...

oddly enough, doing what i do...patent applications..it's the same thing....if i zone out, it's back to square one....if i am not "ready" to work, i get NOTHING done....take today for example...

 

Java ftw! ...but yes your day/head has to be devoted to it
