Someone who uses the term right off the bat in describing my bike or any sport bike is instantly recognizable as a non-rider.

I usually say sport bike to describe as such, or a cruiser for a cruiser, or standard for a.....etc. etc.

 

i love crotch rocket. its a rocket (my 0-60 can prove this) and it fits snuggley between my crotch. its kinda like my other crotch rocket. :-D

 

Why does it annoy ya'll? Ya'll call vehicles "cages". I like the term crotch rocket. Cuase thats what they are, a rocket. There's "Hot Rod". I've never understand that term, hot then rod?????


Next time a lady ask if she can get on your "crotch rocket" you better say yes.

dude, f3 racer, thats your f3 on the right side of your siggy, that things awsome haha. anyway. i dont condone the use of the word, when someone says you have a crocth rocket i will say something stupid like, "i do have a rocket in my pants, thank you."

 

its fine with me, just helps me recognize a non-rider. if someone asks what kinda bike i have i usually reply with "a double r" or "f4i" and most people say "oh ok" with a real confused look. i think they are expecting me to say crotch rocket. lol

 

I agree with B (hey that rhymes). If someone calls it a crotch rocket I know they don't ride. I don't get offended, but half of my brain shuts down and I quitpaying close attentionto anything they have to say from that point on.
