Default credit card question

Ive had this amex card for a lil while and amex recently just increased my line of credit on their own. Is that normal? This is like my first time havin a CC so im not sure if its ok or they just had a glitch.

pretty normal. it just means they trust you with more money. Last time, they told me they were increasing mine before they did it. On my Visa, they asked me if I wanted it raised before they did anything.

Some will increase it, some will send you a letter that you signto increase it.

Amex raised mine also. But I always pay mine off if I use it, dont like to get myself into debt.

Yeah, and the more you keep the balance on it low and the higher Credit limit, the higher your credit score will go over time

He said the lower you keep the balance and the higher the limit the better. Higher limits and higher balances hurt your credit score.
