So I pull up to a red light today and this little lowered dodge dakota pulls up behind me, real close to my back tire and starts power braking the little piece of ****..... just roasting the tires with his bumper inches away from my back tire. I just sit and stare at him in my mirror (couldnt turn around anyway... too much gear on today) All I can think is if this thing breaks loose and he hits me, when I get up I'm gonna beat the **** out of this guy with my kevlar knuckles...... Anyway, the light turns green and I set there for a few seconds staring at this moron and then take off nice and slow and easy. About ten cars pass in the other lane and he floors his little crap box and goes around me.
I mean seriously, how freaking stupid can people be? Its not like I was out riding like an idiot.... I was simply on my way home from work, heading to Penn Station to pick up a sub for dinner. I never cut the guy off..... nothing. I honestly think it was a stupid 16 year old kid being a retard..... I really couldnt tell cause all his windows were blacked out........
Killing is still illegal, right?

 

See I always found that if you put the side stand down, get off your bike, then bend down to retie a shoe it works. Now if when you bend down your jacket moves just enought to show the Kimber 45 you are carrying and you have to slowly pull your jacket back in place that works to.

Ya know its funny. anytime I ride, wether in a group or by myself, when we're stopped at a gas station or anywhere, Everyone and there mother seems to have a hot rod. Trucks, POS cars, you name it, they go by revving their motor or stomping on the gas trying to sqeal the tires. This only happens when I'm on my bike. I've never seen this behavior when Im in my car. I dont know what it is about sportbikes, but it really brings out the morons that think its in impressive to do such stupid acts.

But I've never had anyone power brake behind me. I'd be really pissed off about that one for the reasons you said. My temper would probably have me following the jerk to give him a piece of my mind. But, its probably best you did what you did and just let it slide.

 

If he started doing that behind me, I'd put my kick stand down, walk right up to his window and give him an ear full. No way I'm gonna let some punkass who thinks he's cool think it's a good idea to do that near me.

 

Looking back, Maybe I should have..... maybe not....... at the time I was really just thinking...WTF, I cant believe this guy is doing this....

 

I think I'd be just as dumbfounded, Rod. Not having been there, I'd like to think I'd give the punk a piece of my mind, but I'm pretty sure at the time I'd just be aside myself wondering what possessed this ****wad to do such a thing and I'd just be working to keep my cool and praying those front tires didn't break loose.

I'd like to go along with the idea that it was probably some 16-year-old kid being young and dumb, but I know plenty of 40-year-olds who might be caught on any given day doing something equally pointless and dangerous. Some people are just stupid. Were my step-brother not in jail for being a worthless piece of trash, I'd guess it might have been him; and he's 25.
