Well, it happened. My first crash on my beautiful, clean 600RR.........and in the stupidest way too.
BTW, that's not at all the stupidest way to go down. That distinction goes to the dip****s that try to do stunts with their g/f's on the back, and end up going down, injuring themselves and their girl. That's stupid! I undersatnd what you mean though. It's not as though you were doing anything at all to cause the werck. Sucks.

WOw man, glad to here you are alright!!! You bike isnt very bad at all, especially for the speed you were at. Heel up man!!! I know you have the bike back to good as new asap;

Glad to hear you're alright there BlueFox... and under the circumstances your bike really came out OK too. Hooray for frame-sliders! Forget all that gear, I think it was that wooly leg that protected you........I'm kidding, I'm kidding! A new cowl, some paintwork and she should be good to go....and as always, great pics! good thing your are ok and there was nothing in the way for u to hit at 70mph. dam i hate grave that stuff is bad news. A+ on the frame sliders.... my boss just whent down like a week ago with no frame sliders and and lets just say his bill is ganna be huge.

Glad you're ok, blue fox. Looks like your bike did alright considering your speeds. Let us know what sliders you have.

I don't know if just any frame sliders will do the job. It doesn't look like the bolt broke on his and my buddy just went down a week ago and is bolt snapped. As in all things, I think you get what you pay for.
