That really does suck man but look at it this way, it could've been a whole lot worse! I used to listen to my iPod while riding but 1)If Slipknot, Pantera or one of those kinda groups started playing, I'd find myself doing waaay over the speed limit 2)Like another member on here once said, I'd rather listen to the sweet sound of my RS-5. BTW, they do make Bluetooth helmets as well as Bluetooth "adapters" to "connect" ANY mp3 player/earphone setup.

Even if the helmet fits well riding position and aerodynamics can put turbulent air at just the right level to fill your helmet with noise. Mine is quiet as long as I'm riding the CB650 - upright and in clean air. On the CBR there's no way I can hear anything unless I sit up straight and get my head out of the turbulence coming off the wind screen. That's one reasonfor the earplugs.

I can understand the argument of how headphones while riding can be dangerous. If it's illegal though, why do cars come with stereos? I seriously didn't know it was illegal, and I think I got lucky for not getting some tickets.
