Continuing education?

I will be going back to school to finally finish my associates degree after two failed attempts. I will be going to school a course at a time until I have to required credits to finish up my degree. Just curious if there's anyone else like me who got stuck working, who is going back to school or who is contemplating it?

You didn't have 2 failed attempts. You just had life get in the way twice. You only fail when you quit trying. You will get there. Keep it up.

+1
They are called setbacks.

Keep at it!

I'm slowly but surely finishing a PhD that was meant to be completed in 2010!

You'll get there.

Cheers, SB

Too Broke and SB: keep going at it both of you. Education is beyond value. Well, maybe not. Colleges and universities seem to put a fairly high price on it.

In process right now. Buttoned up my AA last spring, on the way to a BS. (Fall starts Aug 31)

Do what ever works best for you. In my case (and age) going at it 100% is the only option...full time, knocking it out asap, but that ain't no picnic.

CEs are a whole different animal and really don't compare at all to full classes/schooling.

Congrats and best of luck.

I started out 5 years ago with a full class load and two jobs that could end fast enough. If it were even possible for me to go full time I'd have my degree in a semester, but I'm just happy to get back at it.

Absolutely.

I'm working on my degree a few classes at a time as well. Between balancing a full time job, and a part time job. It's rough! If available, I'd take online classes. 2 out of 3 of my classes are online.
