wow 1200 for a ninja 250 in that shape? i see them all the time, like 2007's in mint shape for 2500 ish...

keep lookin. get something small or just some older bike. my first was a 1982 cb900c i aid $500 for.. it was nice, smooth ride, good starter

I started on a F4i as well AFTER taking the MSF.

Im also just getting started i just passed the MSF on my first try and now i am on the market for a bike. I have done plenty of searching and have found that I most likely wanna stick with cbr.

Go out and sit on as many bikes as you're interested in as possible. Just because people make out CBRs to sound like the best (which is all a matter of opinion) doesn't mean it will be the best for you. Maybe an R6 will be more comfortable for you. Who knows.
