Default Cheapest states to live?

Looking to move out of my Mom's house but can't afford my own place in NJ. Semester is out this Saturday. I don't know anything about relocating like this and I am really nervous I won't be able to find a job where ever I end up.

Utah's a great place to live (economy, housing, twisty canyon roads , etc.) if you don't mind the somewhat quirky Mormon culture. Some people hate it and others don't mind it at all.

Iowa's not to bad, as long as you like corn anyway.

+1 on Texas.

When i was in Houston I was leasing a 1500 sq/f 3 bdrm 2 1/2 bath two story townhome for $500 / month. I moved here to Philly, got a real estate agent and asked what I could get for the same in rent. Her response: You can rent a room somewhere.

And if you move to South Houston I'll introduce you to a zillion people rides and stuff to do.

My last apartment before I got a house was a 3 full bedroom 2 story condo with a 2 car garage for 1000 a month. It was awesome and it was in the heart of Clear Lake near NASA.

Lots of jobs down here because our economy doesnt suck and we are only going to get MORE jobs because of all these oil spills ect... The price of Gas will go up for sure which means more money lol.

*Edit*
Dallas has a much better bike friendly people attitudes and roads to ride then Houston does tho just fyi

Let's just keep the whole wonderful Texas thing kinda quiet. Riders, yes!! But lets keep this info on the ole CBRforum. Don't need anymore traffic.
No lane splitting either, but I am working on that!!!!!!
More Ice Houses in Houston.

If you end up in Dallas Let me know.
Good luck,
Patrick
