Is that a challenge?

Sometimes you just can't pass on a challenge, like radar speed limit signs in stupid locations.

Coming home from work today, I noticed that one of these signs had been placed just a short distance down the road from a round-about exit. It was so close, that I wondered how hard you would have to try to have it flash your speed above the posted speed limit.

I know, it's squidish of me, but I did it in the name of science, or something... I did three passes on it; WOT in first gear once I could point my bike straight, and never got fast enough that I had to shift (maybe around 10-12k before passing the sign).

So what's the fastest it clocked me at, you ask? 37 mph.

LOL... That's funny. :D

Little things like that challenge me, too.
BTW, did you know that when you get to a certain mph, those signs won't even tell you your speed anymore? They just go into some weird mode where they flash these little lines on the screen real fast. :D

Obviously not from personal experience... I think maybe I heard that on tv or something. :)

In all honesty, I was definitely doing faster than 37 mph (as you may have figured from the rpm I was hitting). Just goes to show that the sign didn't have enough room to get a good fix on me.

I like the ones that tell me to "SLOW DOWN!" :)
