Hey guys and girls just wondering if there are any riders in the Central Texas area! ie. FT. Hood, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Austin, & hell all the way to Waco ?

I'm from Boerne... but I'm stuck up here in WA State... I'll be back to Texas in July hopefully... We'll have to go for a ride.

 

I was at Ft. Hood until I PCSd to Germany. I should have stayed so I could have had a little break from Iraq, and rode all year long. Hind sight is 20/20 I guess. Try going down to Rancier in Killeen on Sunday afternoons, there were always people down there. Many of them just sit in the parking lots and BS but some people will roll out for a ride. People meet at Killeen Power Sports occasionally too. Good luck, ride safe.

I always ride down Rancier but most of those guys are in bike clubs and I really don't feel like having to deal with a club and their rules. Don't get me wrong they are all a great bunch of guys and girls but I would just rather have a bunch of buddies to ride with without any rules and being told when and where I can ride. About riding year around this year is different crazy weather as low as 25 degrees and in the same week it will rise to about 72 degrees CRAZY. I know it has to be better than Germany though I have many friends that talk about how you have all the seasons in one day. Thanks for the post and maybe you will be back here at Hood soon.
