Woody,
the date planned for the meet up is 16/17 April. Looks like your dates are going to miss this weekend.
Can you bring test and insurance forward to suit?
And yes..... partners, friends, pets...... all welcome.
My missus is coming and I also have another friend and his wife coming along on their Harley. All the fun of the fair.
I hope you can do something with your agenda to enable you to come along.

If not don't worry, I think this will just be the beginning of various meets. After all, who'd miss an opportunity to go riding with like minded CBR folk.

Well done Bugs.
I've just made a request for a group booking to see how many rooms they have available.
When I get news I'll post up so perhaps we can all stay under one roof.
£58/night. Reasonable.
Thanks for taking the plunge. It'll do nicely.

Wow, where did the week go?
I asked the hotel to provide a group booking cost for the place that Bugs has booked into and it turned out slightly more expensive than an individual booking???? WTF ???
Anyway, they've now got no rooms left so I've just booked in here....

Ramada Hotel and Suites Coventry City Centre Butts , Coventry, CV1 3GG.

This is a 4 star hotel and I've paid less than the cost of the premier (including breakfast). It seems they're running a special price for the 16th so if anyone else is going to book, get in there quick.
Shame we couldn't get to stay in one place Bugs but we'll work something out on the day, perhaps go into Cov for an evening meal.

Talking CBR rideout plans

Henry,

The hotels are only 2.3 miles apart so an evening meal sounds like a plan.

Bizarre that the group price was higher than individual!!!

Well done for booking, hopefully more people will book as there's only 2 weeks to go.
Do you want t meet M1 area on way up? What sort of time?

If any body wants to meet on route shout out.

Looking forward to a fun riding weekend

Bugs

Yes Rick, I do want to meet up en route. I'm definitely up for that. M1 will be an ideal place to re-fuel too.
Can you put up the details of the service stop again please.
I think it would be an ideal place for everyone coming from the south to gather. Cross country route would be much nicer than motorway too.
Shall we say about 09:30 at the services. That'll give plenty of time for a leisurely ride to Brum, and make it nicer for the passengers.
My missus complains about too much wind if I go much over 75 MPH. I keep telling her I don't care about her flatulence but.... sigh..... she must be obeyed.

Hi,
As requested here is th elink to the meeting point. Its the servicesjust off the M1 at Hemel Hempstead A414 junction.
I will try to upload a map in a while. Fuel & cuppa sounds good at 09.30.

I have a pillion that doesn't care about speed (slow or fast) just smiles per miles. The missus isn't coming on this trip so I have a bike nut pillion.

See you all soon
